Snow load is 150 kg per square meter (30 lbs per sqr foot), and is wind resistant up to 120 km/h (75 mph). The curved bronze paneled roof is ideal for automatically shedding snow and ice efficiently during the winter. On average, this could mean 2 to 3 feet of snow at average humidity can accumulate on the roof before you would have to clear it.

After a small shipping hiccup, we were able to build the carport before the snow fell. It was easy to build and looks beautiful. Many neighbours have complimented the structure. It is doing it's job so far and we are looking forward to seeing how it withstands an Ottawa winter.
Some scratches and dents in delivery, but they replaced the most damaged panel. It took a day and a half to install, minus the footings. The instructions were clear enough for the most part, but a couple steps were challenging. It seems solid enough, though hasn't been tested in high winds yet. The roof panels design is not the best, and the panels themselves seem flimsy. I am surprised they are polycarbonate (must be the thinnest possible sheet). Overall it's great to have a carport that seems like it will last (as opposed to those shelter logic tent style ones) and that we could assemble without help.
