When will my order arrive?
SHIPPING TIME CAN RANGE FROM A FEW DAYS TO WEEKS DEPENDING ON INVENTORY, TRANSIT DELAYS AND TIME OF YEAR BEFORE SHIPPING, SO PLEASE BE PATIENT. WE CAN NOT CONTROL DELIVERY TIMING ONCE ITEMS LEAVE OUR WAREHOUSES.

Online shopping for our products is very seasonal and shipping times for your delivery will vary accordingly. We can not guarantee a specific delivery date since there are too many variables such as warehouse deman, staffing and trucking availability in your area. We generally get new stock into our various warehouses monthly, but delays can happen, especially around holiday weekends in the Spring (Easter) and Summer.

NOTE: Many items such as our carports, sheds, garages or greenhouses come from a single manufacturer or distributor in Canada who holds your order place in line while backordered. Cancelling and getting a refund is possible if your order has not shipped, but you will lose your place in line.
When will I get my order?
We always try to post the latest information on out of stocks and expected arrival dates for inventory at the top of the product listings (often below the reviews). Please note that backlogs at our warehouses, manufacturers and distributors average a few days to weeks during normal times. Greenhouse poly and related products and some custom welded carports come from BC or Alberta. Ontario and Quebec warehouses service all of Canada and typically have a day or two processing prior to shipping out. For our steel/wood manufactured carports or high tunnel greenhouses, lead time will be longer (e.g. 4 to 8 weeks depending on product and time of year) since they are custom built at the time of order.
Will I get tracking?
Often our shipments will arrive at your destination before tracking is available or has gone live online. The shippers will always call you prior to delivery. In the event of an extreme delay however, we typically can look up tracking for you or you can call the shipping company directly with your tracking # to find a status. Note, you will always get a call at the phone number provided on the order prior to delivery, to ensure you are home to receive it. We book the shipping/trucking company based on cost and availability and we have limited control over who will deliver to you and when. The shipping company will always call customers prior to delivery to arrange details, times you are home etc with you directly.
If I knew that my product was out of stock when I ordered, I would not have done so.
Yes, this can happen in some rare cases. Inventory reports are not real-time (typically updated daily or weekly), and with hundreds of products, supply shortages/delays, inventory updates are not immediate. We can always refund you if item has not shipped for non-custom items or provide an ETA on more stock. New stock can also disappear upon arrival due to backorders during peak periods in Spring and Fall. Again, please be patient. If we don't think we can deliver it in a relatively timely manner then we will mark it out of stock until we can. You also may be able to switch you to a similar product that is in stock.
Can you look up my order?
Yes, we can give you an update if you contact us with your order #. However, please be sure that you have checked the product listing page for any updates on delays or backorders (we always post there!). Be sure to add processing time before it leaves our warehouses plus shipping time. Custom made high tunnel greenhouse or custom carport items can be 3 to 4 weeks or longer depending on the season. Often we have longer delivery times during peak Spring / Fall seasons, or after long weekends.
I didn't get any confirmation of my order, why is that?
If you didn't provide an email, but only a phone number, we will text a confirmation. If you did provide an email, often email confirmations are sent to your SPAM/Junk email filters, so check there. Sometimes we don't receive tracking at all from the shipper, or it will arrive before tracking is ready. You will always get a call prior to delivery at your phone # provided on the order.
Can I pick it up?
Currently, we are only allowing some items to be picked up in select warehouses in Calgary Alberta and Longueuil Quebec. We can do pickups in Kelowna BC, Ottawa or Brampton Ontario for our custom made Kootenay steel and wood carport line.
What if I live in BC or PEI?
If you live in BC or the east coast area and are getting a polycarbonate carport, awning or greenhouse for example from Ontario in the Spring, you may need to wait a few days for order processing/backlog plus delivery time. With busy shipping times however, often multiple trucks are required to get you your delivery. If you have a large shipment with multiple boxes, a "split shipment" can also occur when some boxes arrive before others.
Will I get a call before delivery?
Yes, you will get a call from the shipping (trucking) company in your area. We use a range of carriers via Freightcom.com for the best prices all across Canada to deliver to you. If they try calling you and you either provided an incorrect phone # or no answer after several attempts, they may keep it at the closest depot to your house or business and you may incur additional fees or even may have to pick it up directly. Typically they call the same day or the day before delivery but we can not control when since each shipper has different routes/timing etc.. It's most efficient if you work out the details of delivery to your property directly with the shippers. Know that due to liability reasons, they will typically only deliver to the edge of your property or driveway.
If they don't get an answer or you provided an incorrect number, they will retry a few times but may return your shipment if they are unsuccessful. Since we get charged storage fees, they will not hold your package for more than a day or two typically before returning to our warehouse. If that happens, as per our Return policy, you will be refunded for the item less the cost of shipping costs to and from your address, and a 5% restocking fee.
Will you deliver my door and bring it to my building site?
Typically our shelter kits are shipped in multiple boxes on a skid and dropped at the foot of your driveway. You often will be required to unload the boxes off the skid yourself due to driver liability/insurance requirements. If the truck has a lift gate, they will likely lower the skid and leave it at the bottom of your driveway or to the edge of of your property (they will not move the skid or carry boxes etc. onto your property or backyard). You can then unpack them box by box in a manageable way to take them to your building site.
NOTE: We do not always know which shipping company will be used, since multiple bids are received on the shipment day to get lowest cost and that is up to the distributor or warehouse from where they ship. Generally they are LTL shipments (less than a truckload) using WesternExpress, CanPar, Loomis Express, Day & Ross, or YRC carriers. These trucks generally have a hydraulic lift gate to lower heavy items from the truck bed to the ground at the edge of your property, but not always. Again, you may need to help unload boxes from the truck. They will generally not carry boxes past your driveway onto your property due to liability.
